BOESSENKOOL</strong></a> (University of Oslo): title to be announced.</li><li><a href="http://www.inbo.be/"><strong>Peter BREYNE</strong></a> (Research Institute for Nature and Forest): Validating metabarcoding of aquatic biota as a tool in biodiversity research.</li><li><a href="http://www.uni-goettingen.de/"><strong>Rolf DANIEL</strong></a> (University of Göttingen – Department of Genomic and Applied Microbiology). Metagenomics -&nbsp; a way to assess and exploit unknown taxonomic and functional microbial diversity.</li><li><a href="http://www.ravon.nl/"><strong>Jelger HERDER</strong></a> (Reptielen Amfibieën Vissen Onderzoek Nederland): Environmental DNA as a basis for species conservation.</li><li><a href="http://geologi.snm.ku.dk"><strong>Philip Francis THOMSEN</strong></a> (Natural History Museum of Denmark) : Monitoring aquatic biodiversity using environmental DNA.</li></ul><p>The symposium will end with a general discussion.</p><p>Registration is free but mandatory (in order to arrange the coffee breaks and lunch).
