Research activities related to DNA barcoding: 
Our group has experience in using Barcoding sequences with fish, crustacean and avian species. We are currently looking into the possibilities of using DNA barcoding in diagnostic research (microbiology), biodiversity research (in the field) and to discriminate between (sub)species of military macaws (in order to improve our conservation breeding program).
